Mercure Hotel President Lecce

This hotel has a super good location, just a short walk from the city center. The staff were so nice and helpful. Breakfast was pretty good too, lots of options to choose from. The classic room we stayed in was comfy and spacious enough for our family. We enjoyed a quiet night with no disturbances.

Pleasant hotel, unbeatable location within walking distance from Lecce's main square and really helpful staff. Updated room and modern with comfortable beds and pillows. Simply nothing to complain about, very relaxing stay.

The check-in experience was disappointing. The receptionist appeared disinterested and unwelcoming, particularly towards non-Italian speakers. I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome throughout the stay, which soured my overall experience. The room's carpet was dated and left a lot to be desired regarding cleanliness.

Excellent location, on main shopping street, just few minutes by walk from old town center. Room and bathroom are huge and very clean. Personal very helpfull and kind. Really I can recommend this hotel.

We changed several hotels this trip, and this was the best for it price. Good location, friendly english-speaking staff, good breakfast!

The room I had was spacious, really comfortable, and offered ample lighting for my needs. I appreciated the high-quality coffee and tea service. Using real cups felt nice. The bathroom featured a great raindrop shower with strong water pressure, and it was quite large. Breakfast had many options. One downside was the noise levels from other rooms, as conversations could be heard late into the night, disrupting the peace. The air conditioner was quite old and made some noise, which didn't help with the overall tranquility. I struggled with the Wi-Fi connectivity , a hassle for me. Still, the location near the city center made it easy for me to explore. I would consider returning, as I enjoyed many aspects of the stay despite a few drawbacks.

Lecce is a lovely city. The hotel was much used by tour groups and business people. The hotel was a bit further from the old town than we would have liked, but there were only two *****star hotels in the old town itself, so maybe not many 4 star hotels much nearer. Buffet breakfast had a good choice and the dinner offered at 25 euros for a set lunch was good though not so much choice, helpings on the big side for older people...

Easy to reach by car and in walking distance to the historical center of Lecce.

The hotel might have been modern 50 years ago. The bathroom has some design flaws - a glass rack obstructs the use of the water tap and the shower could use a fresh head.

The classic room was comfy, but noisy from neighboring rooms was a hassle.

By some mistake instead of a double room we were given a tripple one. Even though we offered to change to a smaller the stuff let us stay to the bigger roum with no extra charge or changing the second day. The breakfast was very good. Big variety. And I liked the fact that they hat pasticciotti (traditional lecce sweets), which was very tastefull. The location is good. 10 minutes walking distance from historic center.

I would rather a bathtub or a closed shower cabin (there was shower with just a curtain) so that the bathroom flour would not be full of water when you have a shower. There was not parking space for our car at the holel parking, but maybe we should have made a reservation for this.

There was a problem with water evacuation in the shower and à problem of insonorization.
